Matt grew up in Columbus and earned a degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University. After graduating, he worked for regional landscape architecture/land planning firm in Charlotte, North Carolina before returning to Columbus to join the Don M. Casto Organization, a national retail development company. Shortly after leaving Casto, Matt formed Metropolitan Holdings. He has gone on to successfully develop and build a portfolio of urban infill projects that have enjoyed financial success, all while integrating sound urban planning, and award winning architectural design.
David specializes in commercial real estate sales, leasing, landlord and tenant representation, land sales and consulting. His extensive background in the financial, construction and development areas make him uniquely qualified to assist each client.
David has been licensed since 2005 and has been involved in hundreds of sales and leasing transactions totaling over 10 million dollars. Prior to that he spent 15 years in real estate lending and bank management, as well as 15 years in the real estate construction and development business. He was instrumental in bringing over 3,500 multi-family units on line in the Columbus marketplace. David was awarded the Columbus Realtors “Most Unique Commercial Transaction” for 2013.
Chris Beardman is a 30-year veteran in the construction industry. Starting part time, while still in high school, with general apartment building maintenance for his Boy Scout leader, he moved into ground up construction of single family, commercial and multi-family buildings. The majority of his experience is in Multi-Family construction with projects ranging in value from $600,000 to over $38 million. Chris brings and even keel, common sense approach to the table. In his spare time, he enjoys building Guinness Book of World Record meatballs and writing about himself in the third person.
Pete has been a controller for over 25 years in commercial and residential property management, development and construction. Extensive experience in finance and accounting both in the real estate business and other corporate environments. He has assisted in the conversion of a 312 unit apartment complex into condominiums that were quickly sold upon completion. Pete has been involved in several debt restructuring situations on various types of industrial, office, retail and multi-family properties.
Pete earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron in Accounting. He is treasurer of the Westerville Caring and Sharing organization and is a Notary Public in the state of Ohio.
Gary has worked in the construction industry since 1994. He began his career building custom homes and has grown into a management role overseeing the day to day operations of multi-family construction. He has been involved with new build projects, complete renovations, historic restorations, hospitality buildings, commercial office buildouts, and senior housing projects for more than a decade. He currently oversees the daily operations of company construction projects, monitors proper safety practices, ensures quality standards are achieved and schedules are maintained through all phases and completion.
Mike attended DeVry University for Electronics, Ohio State University for Logistics and Transportation, and is currently studying at Ashworth College for HVAC-R Prior to working for Metropolitan Holdings, Mike was the owner of Doppes Roofing Installers (DRI) for 16 years, with an A++ rating with the BBB. While the primary business focus was roofing, DRI also completed many home renovations, additions and maintenance repairs. Mike was also the District Manager at The Columbus Dispatch, running the cities of Upper Arlington, Hilliard, and Columbus, and he spent two years as a State District Manager. Mike consistently rated in the top 5 monthly rankings of managers and was honored as District Manager of the Year. Mike has a lifelong fascination with how things work and a resolve to fix what doesn’t.
Michelle Cordle moved to Columbus, Ohio from a suburb outside of Chicago to study Graphic Design at Ohio State University. She has 20 years’ experience in property management. She has received numerous awards, including Best in Class and Property of the Year. As the Director of Operations, she will oversee the daily operations at Metropolitan Holdings, focusing on policies and procedures, contract negotiations and increasing revenues.
Michelle resides in the Columbus area with her husband and three children. She is active in her community and volunteers her time to assist with coaching and handles communications for the High School Softball team.
Holly studied Real Estate and Property Management at Sinclair Community College and has held her Ohio real estate license. Additionally, she has completed many hours of continuing education related to real estate, property management and condominium management.
Holly has been in the property management field in multi-family properties for over 20 years. She is well versed in all aspects of property management from Fair Housing to Condominium Management. Her current responsibilities include leasing, resident retention, service orders, negotiating contracts with vendors and budget administration for 200+ units.
Sara grew up just outside of Cleveland, and relocated to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University. She graduated with a Business Degree, focused in Real Estate and Urban Analysis, and began working for a large multi-family developer during her last year of school. After starting a family, and working in a few different industries, she landed at Metropolitan Holdings in November of 2015. Sara handles the daily office management tasks, as well as providing assistance to the property management, development, construction and brokerage teams.
